Why Become a Member?

Cherokee County Federal Credit Union is a not-for-profit organization. That means we're invested in our members' financial success — not our own bottom line. Members of Cherokee County FCU benefit from that business model in the form of checking accounts with competitive dividends, low-interest rate loans, and more.

We consider our members valued partners. As a member, you'll own a share in our credit union, and can vote for our volunteer board of directors. We work hard to ensure that our members' voices are heard when it comes to policy and procedure decisions. After all, we're in this as a community.

Eligibility

Eligibility is open to anyone who lives, works, worships, or attends school in Cherokee County and their immediate family members. And once a member, always a member. Regardless of life changes, Cherokee County FCU membership lasts a lifetime.
